Inspired by my father-in-law's farm, "Evergreen" stems from the profound love a farmer has for his land. The painting captures this deep connection and the toil of forging a life from the soil. It speaks to memories built over generations, where every fence post, tree, and weathered barn tells a story of a family's survival, struggles, and triumphs. The rich green hues symbolise the fertile land, while flecks of gold convey the sunlit hay that sustains the livestock.
